I am asking all you kitties (and humans and woofies and other critters too) to send good thoughts and prayers to my mom. She's having surgery on her foot tomorrow morning and she's getting really nervous about it. The doctor told her it's a simple surgery but she doesn't like hospitals.
We'll all have our paws crossed for her but any good vibes you can send would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, we know your mom will be fine. Mom had to have back surgery this summer, so she knows what you mean about hospitals. Good luck to your mommy.

I am sure that your Mom will be fine, but I understand that having surgery is always worrisome. I am sending her happy thoughts to comfort her.

Okie Dokie... She's ok!
She is in a lot of pain and is pretty grumpy but the surgery went fine and the bone damage was not as severe as they feared it might be.
tonight will be rough with the pain and tomorrow will be worse but then she will be on the path to feeling better. She's got 2 weeks of keeping it elevated and no weight on it then back to the doc for an evaluation.
